Tour Plan
Day 1 – Explore Luxor’s East Bank & Embark on Your Cruise
Your journey begins in Luxor, where your Egyptologist guide will take you to explore the East Bank’s most iconic monuments:
✔ Karnak Temple – The largest religious complex in history, built and expanded over 2,000 years by generations of pharaohs. Marvel at the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 towering columns, and walk along the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes.
After the tour, check in to your luxurious 5-star cruise and enjoy a delightful onboard lunch. Relax and unwind as your cruise sails gently along the Nile.
In the evening, head out to visit:
✔ Luxor Temple by Night – A spectacular sight when illuminated at sunset, this temple was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Its colossal statues and towering columns create a breathtaking atmosphere.
Return to your cruise for dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2 – Hot air balloon&West Bank Wonders: Valley of the Kings & More
Begin your day with an unforgettable experience: a hot air balloon ride over Luxor's West Bank. Witness the breathtaking sunrise and the city's stunning landmarks from above.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before visiting Luxor’s West Bank:
✔ Valley of the Kings – The eternal resting place of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. Explore tombs adorned with intricate hieroglyphics and vivid wall paintings, including the legendary tomb of Tutankhamun.
✔ Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari) – An architectural marvel built by Egypt’s first female ruler, featuring stunning terraces and statues blending harmoniously with the cliffs.
✔ Colossi of Memnon – Two colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, standing guard over the ruins of his once-magnificent mortuary temple.
After your excursion, return to the cruise, enjoy lunch on board, and begin sailing toward Edfu. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.
Day 3 – Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
Enjoy breakfast while sailing, then disembark for your visits:
✔ Temple of Edfu – One of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples, dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. Built during the Ptolemaic period, it boasts magnificent reliefs depicting the sacred battle between Horus and Seth.
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo:
✔ Temple of Kom Ombo – Unique for its dual design, this temple was dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Visit the Crocodile Museum to see mummified crocodiles that once inhabited the Nile.
Return to the cruise for lunch and dinner on board. Sail onward to Aswan and spend the night on board.
Day 4 – Aswan Highlights: Philae Temple & High Dam
After breakfast, set out to explore Aswan’s landmarks:
✔ Philae Temple – A stunning island sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Isis. Rescued from rising waters, it was relocated to Agilkia Island and remains one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt.
✔ Aswan High Dam – A modern engineering marvel that transformed Egypt’s economy by controlling the Nile floods and generating hydroelectric power.
Return to the cruise for your final night on board, enjoying a relaxing evening under the stars.
Day 5 – Abu Simbel - Disembarkation in Aswan
check out ,Rise early at around 4:30 AM for an excursion to the breathtaking rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel. These temples, with their unique design, were created for King Ramses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Return to Aswan and disembark from the cruise. . Our representative will transfer you to your desired location in Aswan—airport, train station, or hotel—marking the end of your 5-day Nile Cruise journey from Luxor to Aswan.
